Nomura is planning to organize a three-day trip to Hong Kong and Shanghai in the last week of November as part of our increasing efforts to provide useful insights into the opportunities that China presents to Japanese companies. It is hoped that the visit will involve a mixture of Japanese and Asian companies with both company and factory visits.

The market is once again focused on Japanese companies with growth potential in China and we believe certain Japanese companies will be able to leverage off China's development and growth opportunities over the medium and long-term. We expect this trip to provide new and invaluable investment perspectives for investors.
