Debt Capital Markets - Our debt services cover the full life cycle of raising, managing and retiring debt. The debt origination groups are managed as one unit, providing a presence across all time zones with centres in Tokyo, London, New York, Hong Kong and offices in many other financial capitals.

Equity Capital Markets - Our scope of activities ranges from large privatisations, initial public offerings, block trades and follow-on offerings through to smaller public offerings and private placements. You will also find us highly active in equity-related transactions, including convertible and exchangeable bonds.

Sales & Trading - Our trading operations work seamlessly with Tokyo, Hong Kong and New York to ensure clients receive access to 24-hour coverage globally. Here in Europe, we have a number of client-focused trading teams with particular expertise in trading government bonds, Eurobonds, credit products, futures, foreign exchange, repos and on the equity side, Japanese and Asian and global emerging markets equities.

Derivatives - In Europe we have built up a strong offering in derivatives, providing credit, interest rate and equity derivatives to institutional clients and (in the case of equity derivatives) to retail clients. Our specialist quantitative, trading and structuring knowledge and skills allow us to create engineered solutions for a broad range of technical issues faced by our international clients.

Research - Nomura produces extensive, award-winning research with analysts based in Japan, Asia, Europe and the United States. Here in Europe our equity research analysts cover a number of sectors, including Technology, Telecoms and Logistics. We have additional teams focusing on emerging markets equities and Economics.
