Frequently asked questions

Can I apply for both the European and international programme?
No, you need to choose one programme only, based on the region that you want to work in (London, Hong Kong) and the roles available within those regions according to your own preferences.

How does the international programme differ?
The European graduate programme gives you the opportunity to train, work and live in London permanently. Whereas the international programme will see you training and working in London for nine months before transferring permanently to a role based in Hong Kong.

What you can expect

As an international graduate, you'll receive all the dedicated training and support you need to develop your career and personal and professional skills.

You will perform a hands-on role with real responsibilities that will grow as you progress through the programme. Through both classroom and on-the-job training you’ll quickly learn about Nomura’s products and systems, while acquiring key skills and a better knowledge of Nomura.

You’ll be part of the London graduate training programme as you complete the first nine months of your career in London before transferring permanently to an equivalent desk in Hong Kong.

The international programme is like no other. You’ll form a greater understanding of Nomura on a global scale, enhancing your personal development and career prospects. Best of all, you’ll have more opportunities to build strong international networks.
