Yes, we offer 10-12 week programmes which take place in the winter, spring and summer. Our internship programmes give students valuable on-the-job, industry experience.
Many of our regional offices in continental Europe offer 3-6 month internship programmes year-round. Please speak with the graduate recruitment team for more details.
Within our finance, operations and information technology divisions, there are options for 6-12 month industrial placements.
We also offer a 2-week insight work experience over Easter for women in their first years (or 2nd years of a four year course) and it is called the Women's Immersion programme.
We encourage applications from all disciplines and look for candidates who have earned a minimum 2.1 (or equivalent) in their degree programme. It is essential that you have an interest in finance, a desire to work in the investment banking industry and are numerate.
We encourage candidates to do as much research as possible beforehand to understand which business area would best match their skill set and interests. In doing so, candidates will be equipped to discuss their choices, demonstrating enthusiasm and knowledge of the various roles.
For Investment Banking and Global Markets: If you are selected for first round interviews, you will have two (internship positions) or three (full-time positions) one-on-one interviews with junior representatives, which will involve a case study. During the final rounds, you will have four 30-minute interviews one-on-one with senior business representatives.
For Corporate Infrastructure: The first round interview stage will take the format of an assessment centre which will consist of two one-on-one 30 minute competency based interviews; numerical test; group activity.
