In two minds about whether a career in banking is for you? Want to get a flavour of day-to-day life working for Nomura, but don’t want to commit yourself just yet? Maybe an internship will help you decide.
Every summer, we run a 10-week internship programme for our four divisions; global markets, investment banking, business infrastructure and research for undergraduates in their penultimate year. It’s a win-win for everyone. It’s a bit like a 10-week interview and if all goes well, we’ll offer you a job when you graduate.
Internships offer you a great opportunity to experience first hand the possibilities a career in banking offers. And you can get a good feel for our unique culture and speak to others who’ve gone through our graduate programme. It’s also a chance to start networking and gain some valuable on-the-job training.
And while you’re with us, we’ll get you involved in real projects with real clients to see where your talents lie. To read more about internships from someone who’s been on one with us, read Richard Kett’s profile. Or to apply for an internship at Nomura, click here.
