Nomura's Global Markets business facilitates client transactions for a diverse group of institutions including corporations, governments and investment funds around the globe. In addition, we act as market makers, trading in fixed income and equity securities, currencies, commodities, derivatives as well as structured financial products.
Sales: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with institutional clients, including pension funds, hedge funds, insurance companies and other corporate clients.
Trading: Buying and selling securities in the secondary market on behalf of clients or the firm; taking responsibility for market making and capital commitment.
Research: Collecting, analysing and assessing industry and company information to provide market insight and investment ideas for institutional investors and internal clients.
Structuring: Designing and developing innovative products and strategies that are tailored to specific client needs.
