Finance – Industrial Placement Program

This program is aimed at students in their penultimate year who need a work placement to meet their degree requirements. Lasting for six to 12 months, your placement will give you the opportunity to see how our Finance division functions and the role it plays in our business as a whole.

You'll take on responsibility from day one, building strong working relationships and facing challenges as a full member of the team. As you progress in your placement you will have the opportunity to take on extra responsibility, which will help you gain knowledge and experience vital to your career.

What's involved?

Finance plays a pivotal role in our business and you will help our department provide expert and timely advice throughout all banking divisions. You will also take ownership for critical projects and interact with external partners at credit and rating agencies.

As well as a wide exposure to Nomura and on-the-job experience, you'll have structured training to help you get the most out of your placement, and have a buddy and a mentor assigned to you. They will be there to give you advice and guidance, as well as answer any questions you have regarding your career development. 

All our placement students are paid a competitive salary and benefits. If you perform strongly in your role, we will also extend you an offer of full-time employment.
