Our coverage bankers have overall responsibility for managing relationships with clients and helping them benefit from the full range of global investment banking services that Nomura has to offer.

These include capital raisings through the debt and equity markets, private placements, leveraged finance transactions, acquisition advice and finance, risk management and restructurings.

Each member of the team is an industry or country specialist and works closely with our capital markets, finance and advisory teams to keep clients up to date with market opportunities in their sector and the latest products.

They also market creative risk and finance solutions that can be tailored to meet clients' particular needs in areas such as capital structure, accounting, tax and risk management.

Coverage bankers play an important role in driving the future growth of Nomura's investment banking business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa by targeting a wider pool of clients, generating more business from existing clients and building the reputation of the bank for the smooth-running of its deals and the quality of its customer service.
