These deals typically take the form of initial public offerings, rights issues, convertible bond offerings and equity derivatives transactions.

We also execute block trades of shares and build equity stakes on behalf of a wide range of corporate clients, financial institutions and high-net-worth individuals.

Nomura has a strong record in equity-linked products such as convertible bonds and other hybrid products that combine elements of equity, debt and derivatives in one structured solution.

We are also seeing growing demand for bespoke structured equity solutions that help clients to manage the risks and returns of their investment portfolios. These include derivatives structures to hedge against falls in the market, maximise investment returns as well as allowing clients to raise finance using their assets as collateral.
