General Description of Funds Services
In principle, the Nomura funds have mainly been distributed in Japan - either by private placement or public distribution - to institutional investors in the financial banking and insurance segments and retail investors. In mid-2005, NBL began launching new funds for institutional investors in Europe and the Middle East.

NBL keeps strong relationships for new and existing fund projects with the departments and entities of Nomura Group in Tokyo, Europe, Asia and U.S., and also directly with major institutional investors mainly in Japan.
