Masaaki Tezuka

Masaaki Tezuka Chief Portfolio Manager and Chairman, Japanese Stock Selection Committee (NAM-TOKYO)

As Chairman of the Japanese Stock Selection Committee (SSC), Masaaki is responsible for leading our stock selection efforts in Japan. In this role, his tasks include monitoring our comprehensive universe of local companies and overseeing the rigorous bottom-up screening process that those organizations included in the universe undergo. In addition to these responsibilities, Masaaki heads the team of portfolio managers assinged to overseas institutional clients. He has served at NAM since 1990 when he joined the organization. He has both a BA and an MA in Commerce from Waseda University, Japan.
