Takahide Mizuno CIO, Executive Vice President, Chairman of IPC (NAM-TOKYO)

Mr. Mizuno, CFA, is the CIO for Nomura Asset Management¿s headquarters. With this position, he oversees over US$240 billion assets invested on behalf of both institutional and retail clients over the world. Takahide is also the Chairman of Nomura¿s Investment Policy Committee. As chairman, he has ultimate responsibility and accountability for the entirety of Nomura¿s investment management results. Takahide joined our company in 1981 as a Portfolio Manager, after beginning his career as a Financial Analyst with The Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. in 1975. He was promoted to Senior Portfolio Manger in 1985 and became head of the Pacific Basin Team in 1994. Takahide, a CFA, holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Waseda University, Japan, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
