Justin joined Phase4 Ventures in March 2007. He has seven years life science private equity experience as an investment professional at HBM Partners in Zurich and Dresdner Kleinwort Capital, in both cases focusing on biotechnology and medical device companies.

Justin is an experienced private equity investor and has been involved in managing transactions in the US and Europe. He was responsible for monitoring and supporting portfolio companies at board level at both Dresdner and HBM. From 1996 to 2000, he worked at Arthur Andersen in London working in both the Corporate Finance and Audit departments. During this period he qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and spent one year working in M&A advisory within the healthcare team. He has an MA (Oxon) in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford. He was previously a Board Member of Mpex, Spinevision, Raymedica and DeveloGen.
