The Women in Nomura Network is proud to present our annual event, celebrating International Women's Day.

This year's debate topic is: "Workplace Equality Needs..."
In Nov 2015, The World Economic Forum concluded that it will take until 2133 to close the economic gender gap. Pay gap is just one example of the many challenges for women’s career development in the workplace.  By exploring what does workplace equality require, we hope to get closer to the solution that supports more women advancing their career and breaks the ceiling for women in general.

The Nomura IWD Debate will be held on March 8, 2016. This year’s event will feature a panel of speakers from HK & SG in a brand new debate format – panellists will present a different perspectives to the same topic whilst the audience can vote live on who they agree with the most.
