Pacific Basin Ex-Japan Equity Strategy

Inception Date: 1981

Objective: Seeks long-term returns at reduced risk by investing in companies that show attractive valuations.

Approach: Employs a disciplined investment process, combining quantitative screening models with original fundamental research.

Investment Criteria: Equity securities of corporations in countries defined by the Morgan Stanley Capital International (“MSCIâ”) Pacific Free Excluding Japan Index or other similar indices. There is limited exposure to emerging and non-index markets; no bias in regard to the liquidity, capitalization or dividend profile of stocks.

Risk control: Risk / return assessment is always considered in constructing portfolios and central to the process.
